Such a great day to remember

Hello dear Dusty friends

I hope you have all been well. I am back with you today sharing my take on our beautiful Moodboard for this month.

I decided to use the maroon and Dusty pink hues for my flowers and the darker blues and greys for the background.

I started by creating a textured background using 13@rts black gesso and embossing powder.

As you can see, I  cut the large chipboard frame into leafy sections, which I arranged around my photo.

I then coloured my Chipboard pieces with a mixture of Distress Oxide inks and 13@rts sprays.

Thank you so much for visiting us today. I hope you enjoyed your time here and will be visiting us again in the near future.

Loved today

Hello dear 49 And Market friends,

I hope you have all been well and hopefully you got some crafty time this weekend.

I am back today sharing this layout I created using the beautiful new Shipwreck Paper Collection.

I just love how beautiful and bright these papers are, but if that's not you, we got you covered with beautiful softer toned papers in the mix.

I decided to combine the bright pattern paper with half of a softer page to all the photo and embellishments to stand out.

As you can see I have used several of the beautiful Laser Cut Elements in this Collection accompanied by beautiful little Archival board pieces and stunning new Wishing Bubbles to add some more detail.

For my title I added a Dusty Attic Chipboard  piece and some journaling words using 13@rts Stickers.

Thank you so much for visiting us today. I hope you enjoyed your time here and will be visiting us again in the near future.

Hello dear friends

I am back on the Dusty Attic blog today sharing this layout I created using a variety of different chipboard pieces, 49 And Market Paper and flowers.

I was inspired by this gorgeous photo of a friend 's grandchildren and decided to us bright complimentary blue and orange to pretty it up.

The page design showing papers layered upon another proofed quite tricky to use because although the lines appear straight,  they aren't. I therefore decided to place my photo with a bit of a Dutch tilt to fit the arrangement.

Using such a large photo (4x6), I decided to keep it simple. I created a bit of texture layering sections of the the grid panel  chipboard and burlap to create an area to place my photo. I coloured the chipboard grid by spraying it lightly with 13@rts chalk spray.

Next I  painted my chipboard leaves with 13@rts acrylic paint and slided them into my burlap layers.

I added some of the beautiful new 49 And Market flowers and decided to add theses beautiful chipboard butterflies which I  coloured with Broken China Distress Oxide ink.

Last but not least I simply coloured my title with Archival Black ink and affixed it in place.

Thank you so much for visiting us today. I hope you enjoyed your time here and will be visiting us again in the near future.

Memories

Hello dear friends

Welcome back here on the blog today. I hope you have all been well.

Today I would like to share this layout I created by using the stunning Old-school Collection coupled with our latest range of Layered Embellishments and flowers.

I started by adding a little bit of stencilling using a 13arts stencil and modeling paste. Next I added some random stamping around my photo area using Pascal 's formula stamp.

I then layered pieces of doily, cogs from the New Layered Embellishments and Dusty Attic Chiipboard to create an area for my photo.

I then decided to use the new 49 And Market a Tangerine Wildflowers compliment the blue splattered background.

Last but not least I added a couple of the new wishing bubbles and 13@rts sticker words to finish it off.

Thank you so much for visiting us today. I hope you enjoyed your time here and will be visiting us again in the near future.

Till next time have fun and take care.

Dusty Attic Cards

Hello everyone, Anguree here. Today I am sharing my first blog post as a member of Dusty Attic and I can't tell you how honoured I am to join this group of amazing Designers. Thank you so much for inviting me Jennifer, I will do my best to do you proud.

I love scrapbooking but I also love making cards and for my first post, I decided to have some fun making cards using a range of beautiful and dainty chippies and embellishments.

For my card base, I used regular white card stock with different layers of 49 And Market Papers, including the Bold and Beautiful Collection and Ethereal Collection.

I then added a small piece of fine lace across the middle of each card, just to have a bit of a start. I chose these beautiful new balcony and window chippies as the main feature of each of my cards.

I then added Broken bits #6 to ground my composition and add some texture. I also picked out some leaves to complete my flower clusters.

Once I was happy with my composition I coloured all my chipboard using a combination of Tsukineko Ink, and a bit of Distress Oxide Ink.  I just love how easy and seamless this process is, no mess and no fuss.

To embellish my cards I used a combination of 49And Market and other leftover flowers from my stash.

Last but not least I selected chippy sentiment words which I completed using Tim Holtz and 13@rts stickers.

Here are the list of products I used:

I hope you enjoyed your time here and will be back to visit us again in the near future.

Till then, take care and have fun creating.

On this special day

Hello dear 49 And Market  friends

I hope you have been well. Today I am back sharing this layout using the beautiful new Vintage Remnants Collection. I just love the lace and vintage feel, which was perfect for this photo got taken at the Louvre on our 15th wedding anniversary.

Products used:

Flower-mini-series-01-cloud
Wildflowers-cloud
Burlap-ribbon-roll-cream-4-x-1m
Vintage-Remnants-paper-no-1

I decided to keep it simple using natural textures and elements that complement the beautiful lace patters on the paper. As you can see, I added small pieces of vintage lace, and  beautiful cream 49 And Market Burlap and 13@rts roots to create a base for my layout.

I do not know about you, but I absolutely love these new Wildflowers. The small cluster of flowers and large flowers make it super easy to create with, so I just placed the main cluster at the bottom, with a single half flower on the right. I then filled the small gaps another areas by using the beautiful mini collection. I really like the this collection, because  it allows you to add just that few extra pieces, without opening another big packet which will leave lots of leftovers.

Last but not least I added a couple of journaling strips using my favourite 13@rts sticker sheets and  a couple of  3D Balls to finish it off.

Thank you so much for visiting us today. I hope you enjoyed your time here. Till next time, have fun and enjoy creating beautiful memories with your favourite products.

All my love

Never stop Exploring

Hello dear Friends

Welcome back on the blog. Today I am sharing this layout featuring some of your favourite 49And Market products using the stunning Captured Adventures Collection, in combination with some of the more recent Archival board designs, Whishing bubbles and lots of flowers.

Products used:

Burlap-ribbon-roll-cream-4-x-1m
Vintage-shades-botanical-blends-blue
Botanical-blends-snow
Blossom-blends-sea-breeze

I started off by stamping randomly on the background, using the Sand and Sea Lighthouse stamps. It's very subtle, but created just enough texture around my focus area.

Next I created a photo base using 49 And Market Burlap, 13@rts roots and medical gauze. As you can see I added lots of flowers to surround my photo.

I added small pieces of Archival board to match the theme. I then painted my title using 13arts paints to allow it to stand out amongst the rest of my embellishments, matching the colour of my flowers.

Last but not least I added a few finishing touches using beautiful new wishing bubbles, 3D Balls, Mica and course glitter.

Thank you so much for visiting us today. I hope you enjoyed your time here and that you will feel inspired to dig up some of your older papers that you may have saved for a special occasion.

Till next time, have fun creating.
