Love you forever

Hello dear friends,

I hope you are having a good week so far. I am back today sharing this layout I created using an array of my favorite chipboard pieces.

I absolutely love using clocks and cogs. When you start assembling these, you might feel that the page would be very masculine, but I wanted to create something softer and more delicate.

I was inspired by the Captured Adventures Collection from 49And Market and thought this will be perfect to create a soft, but grungy mood. I added a bit of texture using modelling paste, a 13@rts stencil and 49And Market burlap.

I used the colours of the background paper to guide the colour of my chipboard and decided on a combination of Distress Oxide Salty Ocean and White Brilliance Ink.

I then found the beautiful script background chipboard and thought this would be perfect to soften the grungyness of the cogs. Distress Oxide Tattered Rose was the perfect match against the blue and white cogs. Besides, it is super easy because  there is no need to gesso your piece first.

Last but not least I added 49And Market Laser Cut Embellishments and flowers with 13@rts Powertex balls.

Thank you so much for visiting us today. I hope you enjoyed your time here and will be visiting us again in the near future.

The ultimate photo

Hello dear friends

Welcome back on the blog today. I hope you are all having a great week, so far. I am back today sharing this layout I created using various 49 And Market Papers and flowers.

I was inspired this cheerful and flowery page from the Vintage Remanents Collection. I just love the soft roses against the rustic vintage background.

I was in the mood to create something soft and romantic, matching and decided to use these beautiful 3D Laser Cut flowers from the 8 x 8 Bold and Beautiful Collection. As you can see I also included 3 little butterflies, which I fussy cut from the bonus  page in the Ethereal Collection.

These scarlet Wildflowers flowers just fitted beautifuly into my colour scheme, adding just the right amount of colour and vibrance.

I still felt like I need just a bit more texture and added a bit of Ecru roots  from 13@rts and Dusty Attic Chiipboard to ground my design. Last but not least I added a couple of 13@rts stickers to finish it off.

Cheerful Cards

For my first card I embossed the Broken Bits Circles with pink Embossing Powder. I then painted the Mini Foliage leaves with 13@rts paint to allow it to stand out more.

I don't know about you, but I just love our Mini Captions, they are perfect for both cards and layouts with smaller photos. Here I simply inked the chipboard piece with white Brilliance Ink.

For this card I used even more Dusty chippies. Yes, the Juliette Balcony pieces are defnitely some of my favourites. It's so easy  to create with them.

To accompany this gorgeous piece I inked Broken wire bits to create a bit of a background. I used more Foliage leaves, which I again painted with 13@rts paint. I inked one of the smaller rose blooms with white ink and tucked it in under my flowers.

Last but not least I finished it off with a sentiment sticker from 13@rts.

Thank you so much for spending time with us today. I hope you enjoyed your visit to our blog.
Till next time, have fun and take care.

Best day ever

Hello dear 49 And Market friends

How has your day been so far? I hope you are all good and enjoying yourselves. I am back today, sharing this layout I created with the beautiful Serendipitous Collection and a some of our new flowers and 3D Embellishments.

I decided to use a couple of Dusty Attic Chipboard pieces to create my scene and frame my photo. To colour them I used a combination of Distress ink, and 13@rts gesso and spray.

As you can see I layered burlap trim, 3D Embellishments and Laser Cut Elements to create two flower clusters on on sides of my photo. I  just love how easy it is to create with these. No fussy cutting, no stress. All you need to do is put them where you want them.

Such a great day to remember

Hello dear Dusty friends

I hope you have all been well. I am back with you today sharing my take on our beautiful Moodboard for this month.

I decided to use the maroon and Dusty pink hues for my flowers and the darker blues and greys for the background.

I started by creating a textured background using 13@rts black gesso and embossing powder.

As you can see, I  cut the large chipboard frame into leafy sections, which I arranged around my photo.

I then coloured my Chipboard pieces with a mixture of Distress Oxide inks and 13@rts sprays.

Thank you so much for visiting us today. I hope you enjoyed your time here and will be visiting us again in the near future.

Loved today

Hello dear 49 And Market friends,

I hope you have all been well and hopefully you got some crafty time this weekend.

I am back today sharing this layout I created using the beautiful new Shipwreck Paper Collection.

I just love how beautiful and bright these papers are, but if that's not you, we got you covered with beautiful softer toned papers in the mix.

I decided to combine the bright pattern paper with half of a softer page to all the photo and embellishments to stand out.

As you can see I have used several of the beautiful Laser Cut Elements in this Collection accompanied by beautiful little Archival board pieces and stunning new Wishing Bubbles to add some more detail.

For my title I added a Dusty Attic Chipboard  piece and some journaling words using 13@rts Stickers.

Thank you so much for visiting us today. I hope you enjoyed your time here and will be visiting us again in the near future.

Sunday, 1 September 2019

Hello dear friends

I am back on the Dusty Attic blog today sharing this layout I created using a variety of different chipboard pieces, 49 And Market Paper and flowers.

I was inspired by this gorgeous photo of a friend 's grandchildren and decided to us bright complimentary blue and orange to pretty it up.

The page design showing papers layered upon another proofed quite tricky to use because although the lines appear straight,  they aren't. I therefore decided to place my photo with a bit of a Dutch tilt to fit the arrangement.

Using such a large photo (4x6), I decided to keep it simple. I created a bit of texture layering sections of the the grid panel  chipboard and burlap to create an area to place my photo. I coloured the chipboard grid by spraying it lightly with 13@rts chalk spray.

Next I  painted my chipboard leaves with 13@rts acrylic paint and slided them into my burlap layers.

I added some of the beautiful new 49 And Market flowers and decided to add theses beautiful chipboard butterflies which I  coloured with Broken China Distress Oxide ink.

Last but not least I simply coloured my title with Archival Black ink and affixed it in place.

Thank you so much for visiting us today. I hope you enjoyed your time here and will be visiting us again in the near future.

Memories

Hello dear friends

Welcome back here on the blog today. I hope you have all been well.

Today I would like to share this layout I created by using the stunning Old-school Collection coupled with our latest range of Layered Embellishments and flowers.

I started by adding a little bit of stencilling using a 13arts stencil and modeling paste. Next I added some random stamping around my photo area using Pascal 's formula stamp.

I then layered pieces of doily, cogs from the New Layered Embellishments and Dusty Attic Chiipboard to create an area for my photo.

I then decided to use the new 49 And Market a Tangerine Wildflowers compliment the blue splattered background.

Last but not least I added a couple of the new wishing bubbles and 13@rts sticker words to finish it off.

Thank you so much for visiting us today. I hope you enjoyed your time here and will be visiting us again in the near future.

Till next time have fun and take care.
