Hello everyone

I am just quickly popping in to share my take on the Tim Holtz tag challenge with you. I loved playing along again and really wish I could do it every month. However life does get in the way at times and before you know it, the month has slipped away between everything else we needed to do. It's awesome fun though so I guess I just need to make the time, don't you agree?

Do hop over to his blog to check out all the fun techniques he incorporated this month.

Here is his version:

Here is my take on the challenge:

As you will see, I did not have Al the stuff Tim had, but used all the Tim goodies I could find in my stash. Obviously I could not help to be a little naughty and ordered the gorgeous rolled roses die. This is such a versatile die set and I am sure it will come to good use in the future.  The flowers are soon tiny, very very cute...

Here are a few close-ups of my version:

Product list: Tag- Kaszazz, Hessian, Dies -Tim Holtz, Pattern paper Tim Holtz, Embellishments- Tim Holtz,  Scrap Matrix & Kaszazz.

Hope you liked it and have fun creating

Cheers xxx

White with 1 May – Rasberry Wine

Hello everyone

I'm back sharing my take on the White with 1 challenge blog.  This month's challenge is to use the colour raspberry wine. Hop over to the blog at and be inspired by their new group of very talented design team members.

So here is my take on the challenge:

(*I just noted something the other day, which I'd like to share. So here goes: Is it just me? Am I the only one, or are there more of you out there who struggles to keep within the 12x12 area a traditional scrapbook page allows? Not only do I tend to go over the edge on purpose when I do my layouts, but do the same for most of my cards... Mmm is this the little rebel inside? I wonder...)

I started with a few bits of chipboard to design the base of my layout. I then used a combination of clear gel, Whipped Spackle and Gelatos. I really liked doing this challenge. It is not a colour I would use frequently and this challenge certainly got me to explore the possibilities.

Here are some close- up details:

Thank you for stopping by.

Cheers till next time

Kraft +– May – Kraftboard challenge

Hello  everyone

I am super excited to share my Guest DT  layout and card for Kraft Plus this month. I am literally bursting of excitement to have this opportunity. Thank you Sandra, for having us. I absolutely love this blog and I am and honored to be featured here.

A big thank you to Vicki, from Scrap Matrix, who has invited me to join her as guest designer for Scrap Matrix this month. If you like the embellishments I used, please visit Scrap Matirx at for more details.

This month's challenge is a kraft board full of gorgeous images and inspiration, so please pop over and be inspired by the work of the Design Team or join the Facebook site for regular updates on the amazing work all the design team members and group members enter each month. Just follow the blog link or type the following address into your browser: This challenge site is open for all kinds of crafters, cardmakers, scrappers, off the page artists or art journal junkies, so whatever your passion, join in.

I  was inspired by the autumn colours, beads and flowers. At first I was not quite sure what layout I would do, so I started with a card. From there everything just flowed and fell into place. It was quite interesting because I'm more a scrapper than a cardmaker, but love both worlds all the same.  Both my card and single layout was created on a kraft base, using alcohol inks, metal embellishments, german Scrap, stamps and filigree or metal embellishments.

So here are my creations:

Product List: Kraft Paper; Black Cardstock; Alcohol Inks–Ranger; Chipboard– Scrap Matrix; German Scrap– Scrap Matrix; Filigree and metal embellishments –Scrap Matrix, Prima; Stamps –Heidi Swapp, Stampers Anonymous– Tim Holtz; Flowers – Scrap Matrix; Pins– Scrap Matrix; Flowers– Scrap Matrix, Petaloo; black cotton, plastic sheets.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
