Off The Rails Scrapbooking — September Moodboard

Hello everyone

I am super excited to share that I'm guest designing for Off the Rails Scrapbooking blog this month. I'd also like to extend a very big thank you to the team for inviting me. It's been fabulous to play along. Special thanks to Deena who kindly guided me through the process.

I absolutely loved this moodboard. It's moody, dramatic and oh so mysterious... I was so inspired, I could not get myself to stop after just 1 or 2 projects, so I created 3, including a layout, an art journal page and a card.

Layout:

Inspired by the moodboard and Louise Nelson.

Techniques:

I Loved the idea of using red flowers and decided to create my own using a My Favourite Things (MFT) Dynamics Die with some black and silver microbeads. (This may seem a little odd to those of you who know my grungy side, but I really love making flowers though I don't do as many feminine and floral layouts.)

I also decided to add a bit more focus to the embellishment at the top by bending some wire in a flower shape.

Art Journal and Card:

Inspiration: A song by one of my favourite artists and Finnabair.

For the purposes of today's post, I'm only going to tease you with one of my projects, namely my layout and give you a few sneak peaks of the card and art journal page, featured on the Off the Rails blog. So off you go now, hop over to their blog (http://offtherailsscrapbooking.blogspot.com.au/2015/09/in-shadows-of-her-dreams.html) and see more of what I created. Don't forget to check out the stunning design team creations and Romain.'s lates video.
