I am super excited to share that I'm guest designing for Off the Rails Scrapbooking blog this month. I'd also like to extend a very big thank you to the team for inviting me. It's been fabulous to play along. Special thanks to Deena who kindly guided me through the process.
I absolutely loved this moodboard. It's moody, dramatic and oh so mysterious... I was so inspired, I could not get myself to stop after just 1 or 2 projects, so I created 3, including a layout, an art journal page and a card.
Layout:
Inspired by the moodboard and Louise Nelson.
Techniques:
I Loved the idea of using red flowers and decided to create my own using a My Favourite Things (MFT) Dynamics Die with some black and silver microbeads. (This may seem a little odd to those of you who know my grungy side, but I really love making flowers though I don't do as many feminine and floral layouts.)
I also decided to add a bit more focus to the embellishment at the top by bending some wire in a flower shape.
Art Journal and Card:
Inspiration: A song by one of my favourite artists and Finnabair.
Products: Watercolour paper – Kaszazz, Stencil – Crafters Workshop & Tim Holtz, Chipboard – 2Crafty, Dies – MFT Dynamics, Tim Holtz and Sizzix, Stamp: IndigoBlu, Embellishments– Prima and Scrap Matrix, Tinby Metallic Melts, Lindy's Stamp Gang Spray, Microbeads – Scrap Matrix, gauze, jewelry wire.
Happy blog hopping and scrapping everyone.
