Beetle Days

Hi Everyone

Welcome to my very first post on The Scrap Yard. I thought it fit to share the layout on which I based the theme and design of this blog.

I was inspired by a photo of my mom in her early 20’s. At that stage, she just started working and loved her Beetle(s). In this layout I intended to show the contrast between the love for her vehicle and it’s unfortunate accident. The photo of the damaged car was covered in Crackle Accents to emphasize this idea and complete the unwritten words in the journaling.
