Hello lovelies

It's the first of June and I am back to share  some brand new challenges for you to play along with.

First up is my take on the awesome Main Challenge at More than Words.

This month our inspiration word is "FATHER" & our creative challenge is "STEAMPUNK"including  cogs, moustaches, top hats & more.

I was inspired by this photo of my dad and I.

 I have loved Steampunk, since the moment I discovered mixed media and am a sucker for any clocks, gears, cogs, light bulbs or metal. Yet I wanted to include flowers and a little softness. You see, my dad has a way of noticing the small details.  I remember him calling me over to show me little flowers or critters in the garden and those small things that easily go you by if you don’t pay attention. He is a part-time minister and only started following this career path when he was much older, in fact I was in my senior high school years when he commenced his studies. This layout reminded me how we should dream big and follow those dreams. When I am worried about something he always tells me not to worry, because he is praying for me This layout  is really personal as it reminded me of all those special memories we share. Thanks dad, I love you and though we don’t talk much, I really appreciate what you do for me.".
