Let's go Travelling (Part II)

Good morning everyone

I'm back with 2 more layouts for Scrap FX and yes we are still traveling across the globe. I just love this new collection of chipboard and transparencis.  The possibilities are endless and if you use them wisely you can easily create more than one project with the same products.

If you want more details on how I ceated c these layouts, hop over to the Scrap FX blog for the step by steps process and images.

I had loads of fun doing this layout and chose to group photos from different holidays together. The group of photos top left is from trips which  my husband and I took together, while the photos on the top right are from trips I undertook by myself. The bottom photo is from South Africa and this one is quite special as I took it after my encounters with this group of giraffes on my morning runs through the wild camp of a game reserve during one of my recent visits.

Jacques and myself were born here and whilst we are proudly Australian now, both of these layouts really captures the essence from where we started and ourtravels to where we are now. Hence the title of the next layout. Quite appropriate don't you think?

Colour Stories Inspiration (CSI) Case file 197

Hello my friends,

I'm back again to share my take on CSI Case file 197. What a marvelous combination of colours. I loved every bit of this challenge. It really allowed me to have fun with bold colours and enjoy what I do without over thinking anything.

The  Street prompts link (http://www.easystreetprompts.com/) is definitely worth exploring as it provides you with an endless supply of quotes, photos and video prompts for ideas for your journalling, especially if you are like me and always leave that part for  last.

Off the Rails - April

Hello my friends

Well, I did promise that there is more to come and yes still plenty more of fun challenges I would like to share with you. Hope you got a cuppa ready so you can leisurely hop from my posts to the DT blogs and back. ;)

Next up is my take on the Off the Rails Challenge for April. It is all about watercolours. Yummo, so bright and beautiful, but if you are not exactly a fan of brights, you can very easily tone it down like I did in this layout I created of my handsome little brother. (Except he ain't that little any more and is tall hulk of a man towering above me, yet still 4 years younger. To me he will always be my little brother though. )

Come and join us and stand a chance of winning and awesome prize. I really found my love for watercolours again and I'm sure you will have heaps of fun. Come and check it out at http://offtherailsscrapbooking.blogspot.com.au/. We also have loads of tutorials to share throughout the month so make sure you don't miss anything.

This layout was inspired by the very clever Anita Rodway and I just love what that girl does with paint, so be sure to check out her blog.
