More Than Words Main Challenge February

Hello there everyone

I'm back again today sharing another fabulous challenge for this month. Yes it is More than Words Main Challenge for February.

This month the challenge is to use the word together as inspiration and use a & somewhere in your layout, canvas or art journal.

February is the month of love and holds some very special memories for me.
Yes I am one of those people who got married on Valentines Day. Not because it was Valentines but because it fell on the 14th and was exactly a year after our engagement. It just happened to be Valentines Day as well.

I was inspired by the &, my memories of this day and our life together. 13 Years this year and I still love him to bits, maybe even more than all those years ago.

Here is what I have done:

I used some modeling paste though a stencil and lightly splattered on faded yellow watercolor paint. Next randomly stamped a script background on top. I also glued on some twine to add texture.

Due to being on holidays at the time I had some wood veneers custom cut for my layout.

Last but not least I added embellishment clusters my veneer title and some journaling strips to add to my story and open a window to my heart.

I  hope you enjoyed these tips on how I created it and that you will play along with us this time.

Please find this link for more inspiration by my fellow design team members and more details on how to play along: http://morethanwordschallenge.blogspot.com.au/2017/02/february-2017-main-challenge-together.html?m=1

I can't wait to see what you come up with so come and get out your paper scissors and ink and get messy.

Till next time have fun playing.

Kraft+ February 2017

Hello my friends

It's the 1st of February 2017. My oh my, how quick has January gone by?  Hope you are just as excited as me, because the first always means new challenges and more opportunities to create and express yourself.

This month we are going coastal at K+. This fabulous new challenge also includes a sketch challenge. Just because the sketch is in 12x12 format does not mean you have to create a layout either. You can interpret it in any way you like and create whatever your heart desire. They only rules are that it has to be on kraft paper and incorporate the challenge elements. You can do a layout, cards, OTP, art journal, it does not matter. In fact, we would love to see what you come up with.

I decided to make three ATC's, also called Artist Trading Cards. They are really small, measuring only 2.5 x 3 " each. Yet so much fun and quick to put together.

Come and check out more inspiration from the rest of the DT and be sure to play along with us this time.

Till next time, have fun.
